| Custom Hybrid Panel – Mapes-R+ / SSG
Mapes-R Plus Rabbet Edge Panels are designed to easily fit into any standard glazing pocket. These panels significantly increase the thermal efficiency (R-value) of the building without needing to modify the framing system. The panels have an insulated core material on the inside and an exterior aluminum skin on both sides that are finished to match the intended design and color palette. These panels can also be installed in a variety of structurally glazed conditions. These specific panels have an overall thickness of 4” and are custom fabricated to meet the performance and aesthetic requirements of the project. The panels were used as a feature to define vertical slots of daylight, and open the rooms to views. |
