Mapes Panels has developed a large-missile and bullet impact resistant line of laminated panels for use in curtain wall, storefront and window applications where design elements require high impact/high load materials. This unrivaled product, with a Class D Impact Rating, has received formal Florida Product Approval with certification #FL32414. This approval signifies that the product meets the most stringent impact/hurricane resistance criteria and is suitable for use in high velocity hurricane zones (HVHZ). MapeShield panels can be used in any framing system design for this type of application. The panels can match any architectural finish including Kynar, Anodized and Baked Enamel. Custom applications including bullet resistant panels are also available.
