MapeStop fire-resistant panels are an ideal solution for glazing applications like curtain walls, spandrels and window replacements that require a fire-rated system. These infill panels are Class A fire-rated and tested to ASTM E-84 standards. They are specifically designed to meet local design codes, including ICBO and Class A requirements.
Yes, MapeStop infill panels provide both safety and high thermal performance, with R-values available up to 27. Depending on the core and thickness, these fire-rated panels can achieve various thermal ratings:
Yes, MapeStop panels are available in all architectural finishes to ensure a uniform appearance across the building envelope. Surface options include Porcelain on Aluminum or Steel, Kynar, Anodized and Polyester Baked Enamel. These architectural infill panels can also be ordered in smooth or embossed textures and custom colors.
MapeStop infill panels can be tailored with optional cores and substrates to meet specific building requirements. For a 15/20 minute rating, panels utilize polystyrene or isocyanurate cores with a ½-inch gypsum board substrate. For Class A ratings with high impact resistance, panels feature a Micore® core combined with cement board substrates.
